Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's tennis team experienced firsthand what playing one of the top teams in the country was like Wednesday afternoon, getting beat 7-0 by #2 ranked Ohio State at the Varsity Tennis Complex.

The #2 ranking for Ohio State made it the highest ranked team that Dayton has ever faced in spring competition. OSU played two singles players ranked in the Top 100 (including #3 Francesca Di Lorenzo) and also boast the #38 ranked doubles pair.

OSU took control of the match early with a sweep of the doubles competition, and UD could not recover in the singles side of the match. The powerful Buckeyes swept away the Flyers at every spot.

Dayton is back in action on Friday, March 11 when it hosts Atlantic 10 foe Saint Joseph's at 6 p.m. at the Five Seasons Sports Park.
