NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its 2016 Women's Rowing All-Academic Team today. University of Dayton senior
Erin Mohney was honored for her accomplishments in the classroom and as part of the Flyer Varsity 8+ boat.
Mohney is one of four members of the All-Academic Team to be named for the second season. There are 10 individuals on the team.

This marks the 16th consecutive year Dayton has had a rower on the A-10 All-Academic Team. UD has had a representative on the rowing All-Academic Team every year since it became a Flyer varsity sport.
Mohney, from Bay Village, Ohio, was recently one of four Flyers named a 2016 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar-Athlete. She is an operations management major, with a minor in sustainability, energy and environment.
Mohney was part of the Dayton Varsity 8+ boat that took first place in the Petite Final at the 2016 A-10 Rowing Championship. She has been a member of UD's V8+ boat since her sophomore year and has been named to the Dean's List and A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll every semester at Dayton.
She also helped the Flyer V8+ to a second place medal at the 2016 Lubbers Cup and the 2016 Cincinnati Regatta.
She is one of UD's 2016 Presidential Scholar-Athlete Award winners, which goes to the top male and female student-athletes at Dayton.
