VOLLEYBALL HEADED TO IUPUI FOR TUESDAY MATCH-UP

Dayton is Current;y Enjoying 10-Match Winning Streak

DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton volleyball team has a single match against IUPUI set for Tuesday night. First serve between the Flyers and the Jaguars is set for 6 p.m. at The Jungle in Indianapolis.

About Dayton
Dayton has started off 2016 with 10-consecutive victories, the program's best start since UD went 10-0 to open 2009. The Flyers took the Evansville Dunn Hospitality Tournament title with three straight-set wins over the weekend. UD is led offensively by junior Jessica Sloan with 4.11 kills/set (2nd A-10) and 0.34 aces/set (8th A-10) while junior Jane Emmenecker sets 10.22 assists/set (3rd A-10). Junior Amber Erhahon swings at a team-best .469 (2nd A-10) and sophomore Kendyll Brown is right behind her at .400 (3rd A-10).

Scouting IUPUI
IUPUI (4-7) recorded back-to-back wins over Green Bay and McNeese State before falling to host Missouri State this past weekend at the Winn Invitational. The Jaguars are led by Kori Waelbrock with 3.59 kills/set and Jessica Helms is the team's leading passer with 3.77 digs/set.

Series Stuff
Tuesday night's match with be the fourth meeting between Dayton and IUPUI. The Flyers hold the 3-0 advantage in the series and UD claimed a 3-0 win over IUPUI on Aug. 26, 2006 in Dayton.

RPI Rankings
At the end of the 2015 season, Dayton held a Rating Percentage Index (RPI) ranking of 22 according to ncaa.com. IUPUI finished up last season at 113 in the RPI.

• Tim Horsmon is in his eighth season overall, and third since 2007, as head coach of the Flyers in 2016. His record at Dayton is 195-55 and his career win-loss mark sits at 371-219 in 18 seasons as a head coach.
• Dayton has won the Atlantic 10 Regular Season title 12 times (2015, 2014, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2001, 1998). The Flyers have won the A-10 Championship title a league-record 10 times (2015, 2014, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005, 2004, 2003) and made their 11th NCAA appearance in program history in 2015.
• Over the last seven seasons (2009-2015), the Flyers have recorded a 93-9 mark in Atlantic 10 Conference play, including a perfect 14-0 mark in 2015 and 2012 and a 15-0 record in 2010. UD suffered only one conference loss in 2014, 2011 and 2009.
• Dayton returns the 2015 Atlantic 10 Setter of the Year in junior Jane Emmenecker, A-10 First Team member Amber Erhahon, A-10 All-Rookie Team member Margo Wolf and three-time A-10 Coach of the Year Tim Horsmon.
• The Flyers finished the 2015 season with a 27-6 overall record and a 14-0 Atlantic 10 mark, finishing in first place in regular-season league play. 2015 was the program's 37th winning season.

Last Time Out
In the finale of the Dunn Hospitality Tournament, Dayton posted its fourth-consecutive straight-set win, a 3-0 victory over Austin Peay at Evansville's Carson Center. Junior Jessica Sloan tallied a match-high 15 kills and sophomore Margo Wolf was the match's leading passer with 21 digs. As a team, the Flyers hit at .396 and recorded 46 kills.
