Box Score LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Dayton men's tennis team opened up the 2017 spring season with a 6-1 loss to No .15 Kentucky on Monday afternoon at the Boone Tennis Complex.
Dayton's lone victor was sophomore
Lorenzo Rollhauser, who came away victorious at No. 5 singles, 6-3, 7-6 (5).
The Flyers pushed the Wildcats to the limits in two of three doubles matches, as
Carsten Fisher and
Zach Berry were tied with UK's top doubles pair when the doubles were decided.
Andy Druffel and
Simon Jayaram were defeated 7-6 in tiebreak.
