Box Score DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis team fell to Belmont University 5-2 on Saturday afternoon at Five Seasons Sports Park.
The Bruins jumped ahead by earning the doubles point and never looked back at the Flyers, securing the victory with wins at No. 3, 4, 5, and 6 singles.
Lorenzo Rollhauser and
Bernardo Sanson teamed up to give UD its lone doubles victory, while juniors
Carsten Fisher and
Zach Berry each earned wins in singles.
Fisher, playing at No. 1, fell in the first set 6-3, but came back to win the match with 6-2 and 6-3 set victories. Berry made quick work of his foe at No. 2, winning 6-3, 6-2.
