YPSILANTI, Mich. – The University of Dayton women's golf team finished in seventh place out of 10 teams at the Shirley Spork Eastern Michigan Invitational. The two-day event was held Eagle Crest Golf Club Oct. 9-10. The course played at 6,127 yards and par 72.
Marshall claimed top team honors with its three-round total of 302-294-300=896 (+32). Western Michigan's Julia Champion earned medalist honors with her scorecard of 71-74-73=218 (+2).
Dayton's
Ellie Cronin finished third overall in a field of 60 players, making this her second top-three finish and third top-20 finish of the season.
