NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference released its weekly men's soccer honors and named University of Dayton sophomore midfielder
Rok Taneski the Offensive Player of the Week.
Taneski led the Flyers over the last two games with three goals and one assist, totaling seven points during that stretch. The Slovenia native scored once and assisted another in the 4-0 win at Saint Louis Wednesday. He followed that up by scoring both goals against Massachusetts on Saturday.
This season, Taneski ranks second in the A-10 in points with 19, after recording a team-high seven goals and five assists. He has started all 16 games this season.
The Flyers are 7-7-2 on the season and 4-2 in A-10 play. They have two games remaining with postseason hopes on the line. Dayton travels to Duquesne Saturday before hosting George Mason in the regular season finale next Wednesday.
