Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's tennis team was swept at the hands of the ITA's No. 2-ranked team on Friday night, falling 7-0 to the Ohio State University at the OSU Varsity Tennis Center.

MATCH NOTES
•    The Buckeyes jumped out in front by sweeping through the doubles point, winning 6-2 at No. 1, 6-0 at No. 2, and 6-1 at No. 3.
•    Ohio State's top four singles players were ranked in the ITA Top 100, pulling wins at each of the top five spots in easy fashion.
•    Dayton senior Mandy Marchant fell in a tight one at No. 6 singles, losing 6-1, 3-6, 1-0.
•    Ohio State was also ranked No. 2 when Dayton traveled to Columbus in the 2016 season.

UP NEXT
The Flyers welcome Atlantic 10 foe Rhode Island to the Gem City on Saturday for this year's Senior Day, taking on the Rams at 1 p.m.
