DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton softball team continues its eight-game home stand with a three-game Atlantic 10 set against St. Bonaventure this weekend. The Flyers and Bonnies will play two on Saturday with first pitch set for 12 p.m. at UD Softball Stadium.

About Dayton
Dayton (16-17, 4-4 A-10) claimed a 6-0 win in the finale of its three-game series with George Mason Sunday in the team's last outing. The Flyers are currently in fourth place in Atlantic 10 standings with an even 4-4 league mark. As a team, UD leads the A-10 and ranks fourth nationally with 1.76 doubles per game. The Flyers are led offensively by senior Gabrielle Snyder with a .402 average (2nd A-10) that includes 43 hits (1st A-10) and she has scored a team-best 22 runs. In the circle, junior Manda Cash has tallied an A-10-best 120 strikeouts (36th NCAA) while posting nine wins (t-2nd A-10) and carrying a 2.55 ERA.

Scouting St. Bonaventure
St. Bonaventure (9-21, 1-2 A-10) opened Atlantic 10 play last weekend at home with a 1-2 result against La Salle and split its mid-week home series with Robert Morris on Wednesday. In the circle, Emma Borysevicz (5-7) has a 3.90 ERA with 47 strikeouts to 17 walks.

Series Stuff

RPI Rankings
In the NCAA's most recent Rating Percentage Index (RPI) that includes games through April 2, Dayton came in at 210 according to NCAA.com. St. Bonaventure is rated 268.

She's A Hit Machine
With 187 career hits, senior Gabby Snyder now ranks third all-time on the Dayton career hits list. Chasing former Flyer Molly Meyer (2007-10) who is at the top of the list with 197, Snyder needs just 11 more hits to take over the top spot. She is currently in first place in the A-10 standings with 43 hits this season.

There's Your Double
Senior Gabby Snyder is an ace in the circle but she also carries a big bat. After batting her third double of the season against Northern Kentucky on Feb. 17, Snyder set a new Dayton career doubles record and she now has 50 career doubles.

Speaking of the Record Book
Junior Manda Cash has already made her mark on the Dayton record book and continues to climb the rankings. Her career ERA of 1.74 ranks third all-time in program history. Additionally, Cash has tallied 470 career strikeouts which ranks second, behind only former Flyer Kayla English (2012-15) who holds the record with 564.

She's a Quick one
With 13 stolen bases on the season, senior Hannah DeSalvo has already surpassed her career total from the last three years. Her 23 career stolen bases cracked Dayton's top-10 list, ranking her tied for 10th place all-time with former Flyer Anne Maci (2007-10). DeSalvo has also been hit by a pitch 13 times this season (2nd A-10). Who says 13 is an unlucky number?
