DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team will play host to IUPUI Tuesday evening at Frericks Center. First serve is set for 7 p.m. and admission is free.

How to Watch
The match will be televised regionally on Spectrum Sports Ohio. Outside of the viewing area, folks will be able to watch the match via live video stream on the Atlantic 10 Network. The broadcast will feature Alex Mikos and Larry Hansgen.

About Dayton
Dayton (6-4) claimed the tournament title this past weekend at Illinois State's Redbird Classic after a 2-1 outing in Normal, Illinois. After falling to the host Redbirds, Dayton posted back-to-back straight-set sweeps of Cincinnati and Seton Hall. Senior Amber Erhahon, the reigning Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, tied the Redbird Arena single-game record and set a new Dayton program record with her .867 hitting percentage in the Flyers' finalé. UD is led by junior Lauren Bruns with 3.40 kills/set (4th A-10) and senior Jane Emmenecker is the team's primary setter with 9.83 assists/set (3rd A-10). Erhahon averages 3.23 kills/set (7th A-10) while hitting at .449 (16th NCAA) and also tallies 1.34 blocks/set (3rd A-10).

Scouting IUPUI
IUPUI (4-6) split its matches over the weekend at the Chippewa Invitational, defeating Indiana State, 3-2, and falling to host Central Michigan, 3-0. The Jaguars are led by Maggie Gibson, who was named to the Chippewa Invitational All-Tournament Team, with 9.90 assists/set (6th HL) to go with a .303 hitting percentage, 2.80 digs/set and 0.88 blocks/set. Kori Waelbroeck averages a team-best 3.92 kills/set (2nd HL) and Jessica Helms is the team's primary passer with 4.78 digs/set (4th HL).

Series Stuff
Dayton and IUPUI have previously met four times in the series between the two squads with the Flyers coming away on top all four times. The series started in 2002 and the two last met on Sept. 13, 2016 in Indianapolis as Dayton defeated IUPUI, 3-0.

RPI Rankings
In the final NCAA Rating Percentage Index (RPI) of 2016 posted Monday, Nov. 28, Dayton came in at 33 according to NCAA.com. IUPUI was ranked 190 at the end of last season. 2017's first RPI ranking will be released by the NCAA on Oct. 2.

• Tim Horsmon is in his ninth season overall, and fourth since 2007, as head coach of the Flyers in 2017. His record at Dayton is 221-60 and his career win-loss mark sits at 397-224 in 19 seasons as a head coach. Horsmon is the program's second-winningest coach behind only R. Elaine Dreidame who amassed 310 wins 1970-79.
• Over the last eight seasons (2009-2016), the Flyers have recorded a 106-9 (.923) mark in Atlantic 10 Conference play, including a perfect 14-0 mark in 2016, 2015 and 2012 and a 15-0 record in 2010. UD suffered only one conference loss in 2014, 2011 and 2009.
• Dayton has won the Atlantic 10 Regular Season title 13 times (2016, 2015, 2014, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2001, 1998). Last Time Out
In its finalé of the Illinois State Redbird Classic on Saturday, Dayton posted a straight-set win over Seton Hall. With her .867 hitting percentage for the match, senior Amber Erhahon tied the Redbird Arena single-game record and set a new Dayton program single-game record for hitting percentage. Erhahon led all attackers in the match with 13 kills while committing zero errors in 15 attempts. As a team, Dayton out-hit Seton Hall .323 to .131 and the Flyers posted 11 blocks to the Pirates' five.

Erhahon Named A-10 Player of the Week
Senior Amber Erhahon was honored as the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week on Monday, Sept. 11. Erhahon led the Flyers over a 3-1 week with 3.71 kills per set, a .538 hitting percentage and 1.36 blocks per set. In Saturday's nightcap against Seton Hall, she tied the Redbird Arena single-game record and bested her own school record with an .867 hitting percentage (13-0-15) to go with eight blocks. For her efforts over the weekend, Erhahon was named the MVP of the Redbird Classic.
