#UDMTEN Weekend Preview

The Flyers Are Set To Host Three Opponents This Weekend

DAYTON – Dayton men's tennis will host three teams this weekend as it looks to extend its hot start to the season. The Flyers have an overall record of 3-1 on the season and are coming off a split last weekend with a loss to VCU and victory over Richmond. Junior Jordan Benjamin is off to a 4-0 start in No. 1 singles play and will put his undefeated record on the line once again this weekend.

Butler will be the first opponent for Dayton this weekend on Friday at 6 p.m. The Flyers will then host Eastern Illinois and Wright State for a double header on Sunday with matches scheduled to start at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively.

  • Eastern Illinois will match up with Wright State on Saturday before taking on the Flyers this Sunday.

  • Dayton holds a four-match win streak over Wright State. The last time the Raiders prevailed over the Flyers was March 3, 2012.
