The University of Dayton women's tennis team heads to the east coast this weekend for two matches, including a conference match with Rhode Island on March 2 at 6 p.m. The Flyers will then match up with Providence at 8 a.m. on March 3 to wrap up the weekend.
Freshman
Kelly Pleiman was named the Atlantic 10 Conference's Rookie of the Week on Wednesday. Pleiman clinched Dayton's match last week in No. 5 singles with a clutch  3-6, 6-2, 6-4 win over Illinois State's Laura Fitzgerald in No. 5 singles to break a 3-3 tie and give the Flyers a 4-3 win.
