DAYTON – The University of Dayton Men's soccer team are on the road to kick off their spring schedule and face the Kentucky Wildcats in the Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
This will be the Flyers' first match since exiting the Atlantic 10 Championship in a quarterfinal loss against the Fordham Rams.
In the 2017 season, the Flyers suffered a 3-5-1 away record, but they managed a successful record of 6-3-1 at Baujan Field to go 9-8-2 overall. Rising junior and forward
Rok Taneski was recognized as a Second Team All-Midwest region honoree by the United Soccer Coaches Association. The forward from Kranj, Slovenia led the team with 10 goals, three of them game winners, and seven assists. His honors also include A-10 First Team All-Conference honors and two-time A-10 Player of the Week.
The Wildcats ended their 2017 campaign with an overall record of 8-6-4, and 5-2-2 on their grounds.
Conditions for the game will be partly cloudy with a temperature of 47°F at kick-off.
