NORMAL, Ill. – The University of Dayton women's track and field team took second place at the Illinois State Redbird Invitational.

Highlights

• Senior Jenni Rossi won the hammer throw, was second in the discus, and took third place in the shot put.
• Sophomore Lillian Cook won the javelin for the third consecutive meet.
