"The team had a few good races. The 2nd 8+ put together a goodfinal. As a boat, they improved upon the time trial and heat onSaturday.
The Varsity 8+ was the highlight of the weekend. Down a full length toBarry at the halfway point, the varsity boat moved even in the third500 and sprinted ahead for fourth in the grand final behind Wisconsinlightweights, RIT, and Kansas State. The boat moved another step forward in
preparation for the conference championships in two weeks.
Going forward the team will recover for a day or two and concentrateon their coursework and exams as each boat will start to taper forA-10s in two weeks."
