DAYTON – University of Dayton football fans will have a chance to be a part of two special promotions when the Flyers open the season Saturday at Welcome Stadium against Robert Morris.
Dayton Flyers Athletics is hosting a free cookout for fans starting at 11:30 a.m. ET. The cookout will be located in a tent outside the west wing of UD Arena and will include hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, cookies and drinks for no charge. Beer will be available for purchase.

Fans attending the game can also be entered in a drawing to win Dayton Flyers Prize Packs by bringing any of the following items to benefit Crayons to Classrooms:
• 24 count crayons
• colored pencils
• pens
• pencils
• glue sticks
• notebooks
• markers
• scissors
• construction paper
For each item donated, fans will receive one raffle ticket. Raffle prize winners will be announced at halftime.
Crayons to Classrooms is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Its service area encompasses schools in Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery, Preble counties, and two schools in Warren (Franklin City Schools and Springboro City Schools) county.
Saturday's kickoff is at 1 p.m. ET.
