DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team will play host to Saint Louis Friday night at Frericks Center. First serve is set for 7 p.m. and admission is free. The third-place Billikens will be looking to avenge the Flyers' 3-0 win in St. Louis earlier this season.

Saint Louis (14-8, 8-1 A-10) is riding an eight-match winning steak after opening A-10 play with a 3-0 loss to Dayton at home. Last weekend, Saint Louis claimed wins over George Mason and George Washington in St. Louis. The Billikens are led by Maya Taylor with 4.19 kills/set (2nd A-10) and Lauren Mershon with a .324 hitting percentage (6th A-10). At the service line, Kennedy Cordia tallies a league-leading 0.48 aces/set while also serving as the team's primary setter with 9.62 assists/set (2nd A-10).

Dayton leads, 37-16
In a series that dates back to 1978, Dayton has won 14-consecutive matches over Saint Louis including a 3-0 win earlier this season. The Billikens' last win over the Flyers was Sept. 29, 2013, a 3-2 victory for SLU at Frericks Center.

In the NCAA's most recent Rating Percentage Index (RPI), released Oct. 28, Dayton ranked 52nd according to NCAA.com. Saint Louis came in at 109.
