INDIANAPOLIS  – The University of Dayton women's rowing team completed its 2019 fall competition at the Bald Eagle Collegiate Invitational today.
The UD Novice 8+ of
Elizabeth Myers,
Grace Blust,
Ashley Yeoman,
Lauren Myers,
Elli Ertl,
Mackenzie Meyers,
Emily Mann,
Susie Issenmann, and
Kyra Hughes (coxswain) took first place to earn gold medals in a time of 16:06.6.
Dayton's Novice 4+ boat of
Lauren Myers,
Elizabeth Myers,
Grace Blust,
Ashley Yeoman, and
Kyra Hughes (coxswain) picked up more gold medals with a first-place finish in 17:33.5.
Dayton's V4+ of
Maggie Cahill, Beth Hoffman,
Anna Benton,
Erin Dwyer, and
Samantha Bauer (coxswain) took second place in 16:25.1 at the Bald Eagle Collegiate, beating Northwestern by six seconds.
UD's Varsity 8+ finished in third place in a time of 15:39.4. The crew includes

Dayton's V4+ B boat took fourth place at the Bald Eagle Collegiate.
Haylee Zigmund,
Colleen McDonnell,
Sonia Krolak,
Grace Yingling and
Isabelle Blanchard (coxswain) were the crew. They missed the podium by four seconds, as Purdue crossed in 17:08.1 and the Flyers crossed in 17:12.2.
The 2V8+ for the Flyers finished fourth in 17:35.2.
