DAYTON - The University of Dayton men's tennis program will travel to Indianapolis on Friday for a match against Butler beginning at 12 p.m. (ET). The Flyers are 2-2 this season and coming off a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Cleveland State last Friday, while the Bulldogs have a record of 4-3 and are currently riding a three-match win streak.
Langford Hills has the top individual record for the Flyers so far this season with a combined record of 8-0 in doubles and singles play. Hills was also named as the Atlantic 10 Conference's Player of the Week on Jan. 29.
Jordan Benjamin had his 22-match winning streak at the No. 1 spot in the lineup for dual play matches snapped last week against nationally-ranked Nico Mostardi, but still has a 3-1 record at the No. 1 spot in 2019 after going a perfect 16-0 last season.
Butler's Mason Dragos is the reigning Big East Player of the Week and has a 5-1 record this season at the No.1 spot in the lineup. The Bulldogs have cumulative winning records at courts one, four, five and six this season.
