Richmond, KY – Ellie Cronin and the Flyer Women's Golf team finished strong at the Colonel Classic. The team really set the tone early and carried the momentum throughout the final round. The team finished in fourth place overall with a score of 916 (+52). The Flyers are hoping to use the momentum built from this tournament to help carry them the rest of the spring season.
 
Eastern Kentucky won the Colonel Classic with a score of 875 (+11).

COACH'S COMMENTS
 "We had the lowest scores for a tournament in UD history!  Ellie Cronin following up on her 69 yesterday with a 74 today in two-club winds that made club selection really tough.  The entire team stayed focused and we moved up two positions, outscoring several of our perennial rivals. I'm so proud if the team" said Head Coach Sally Kosters.
