DAYTON – The USA Today Top 25 women's basketball coaches poll was released Tuesday with the University of Dayton receiving votes.

The Flyers picked up two votes after going 6-1 so far this season including 5-0 in Atlantic 10 play, putting them atop the conference standings.

Dayton has won five games in a row and 10 straight games against league opponents dating back to last year.

The Flyers also picked up conference recognition this week with freshman center Tenin Magassa being named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week.

This is the third week in a row the Flyers have received votes in the poll.
