INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Dayton women's rowing team returned to action this Saturday in Indianapolis at the Bald Eagle Regatta hosted by Purdue University.

The Flyers competed in four heats and had a successful day overall.  The novice 8-A team took home first place in their race while varsity 4-A, novice 8-B+, and varsity 8-B all finished second.

"I'm happy overall to have a chance to race this weekend," said head coach Mike Wenker. "The novice put together a few good races for their first time on the race course. The varsity boats had a few good races. We are ready to go inside and get ready for the spring."
