DAYTON - The University of Dayton volleyball team will meet you in St. Louis for its spring 2021 season opener at Atlantic 10 foe Saint Louis. The Flyers and Billikens are scheduled for two matches Saturday, Feb. 13 at SLU's Chaifetz Pavilion.
The first match, which will be counted as a conference match, will get underway at 1 p.m. ET. The nightcap is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET but will only count toward the two programs' overall record for the season.
Dayton is coming off a 22-9 season in 2019 while tallying a 13-1 mark in league action. The Flyers claimed their second-consecutive and 13th overall A-10 Championship title last season and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the 14th time in program history.
Returning for the Flyers are 2019 AVCA All-America Honorable Mention and Midwest Region Player of the Year junior

Saint Louis (1-3, 0-1 A-10) is already four games into its spring 2021 slate and coming off a straight-sets win at Butler on Tuesday. SLU faltered, 3-1, at VCU on Feb. 5 in its conference opener. Freshman Jillian Mattingly has started strong for the Billikens, averaging 2.73 kills/set and 0.47 blocks/set while freshman Carlie Rodgers is the team's leading passer with 4.20 digs/set.
