DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis team will return to action on Tuesday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. against Wayne State at Graul Tennis Complex.

It will be the first match for the Flyers since March 28 and the Flyers will look to extend the team's winning streak to seven matches and finish 11-0 at home. Dayton is 11-5 overall and 2-0 in Atlantic 10 play. Sophomore
Connor Bruce will look for his twelfth singles victory of the season. Bruce is 11-3 in the first singles flight this year and 2-0 against A-10 opponents. As a team, the Flyers are 51-26 in individual singles matches this season with Bruce and senior
Will Harper each with six-match winning streaks entering the contest. The Flyers have also dropped one point against or shut out their opponents in the team's last six matches.

Wayne State enters the contest 6-6 on the season, winning five straight matches coming into the match against the Flyers. The Warriors last played on Saturday, April 17
th, a 6-1 victory over Northwood. Dom Spicer has been the main force for WSU, sporting an 8-3 record in the first singles flight. Luke Laws has also been playing well for the Warriors, with a five-match winning streak and an 8-3 overall record as well. Spicer and Laws have also paired together to go 9-2 in the first doubles flight this season. Overall, Wayne State holds a 43-29 individual singles record and a 23-13 individual doubles record in 2021.
