DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team is heading to Olean, N.Y., for a four-game Atlantic 10 Conference series at St. Bonaventure this weekend. The Flyers and Bonnies will play back-to-back doubleheaders April 30 and May 1 at SBU's Joyce Field.
The games will get underway at 12 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday and all four will be available to follow via live stats. Saturday's games will be broadcast on ESPN+.

SCOUTING ST. BONAVENTURE
St. Bonaventure (0-20, 0-16 A-10) will be hosting Dayton for only its second homestand of the season. The Bonnies have played 16 of their 20 games this season on the road. Haley Strang (.262) and Tierney Fitzgerald (.230) are the only two Bonnies that have started all 20 games for SBU this season and Emily Lewandowski (.345) has collected a team-best 19 hits. In the circle, Ally Haskell (0-6) carries a 5.34 ERA over 38.0 innings of work with 28 strikeouts.
ABOUT DAYTON
Dayton (15-22, 10-6 A-10) enters the weekend conference series in second place in the A-10 Central standings and is battling for a spot in the 2021 A-10 Championship with two weekends left to play. The Flyers have five players hitting above .300 led by freshman
Megan Ward (.407) who has tallied a team-best 50 hits and scored 19 runs while senior
Abby Ehrenborg (.328) leads the team with 30 RBI, 12 home runs and nine doubles. Freshman
Addy Bullis (8-6) holds a team-low 1.89 ERA over 88.2 innings pitched with a team-best 78 strikeouts and six complete games.Â
SBU FAN POLICY
Fan attendance for the spring semester on campus at St. Bonaventure University is limited to SBU students, faculty and staff, and two family members per home athlete. Visiting team parents and fans are not permitted on campus.
ATLANTIC 10 FORMAT
The Atlantic 10 will be divided into two divisions with five teams in each regionally-based pod. Dayton will be competing in the central division which also features George Mason, St. Bonaventure, Saint Louis and George Washington. The north division is made up of Fordham, La Salle, Saint Joseph's, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Also new to the 2021 Atlantic 10 schedule is that conference series have moved from three to four-game series, featuring doubleheaders each day of the two-day series.
