DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team is on its way to the nation's capital for a four-game set at Atlantic 10 foe George Washington April 10-11. The back-to-back conference doubleheaders will take place at GW Softball Field with first pitch set for 12 p.m. both days.
Saturday's games will be available to watch via ESPN+, all four games will be available via live stats.

SCOUTING GEORGE WASHINGTON
George Washington (16-7, 8-0 A-10) sits atop the A-10 Central standings with its perfect 8-0 mark in league games, just ahead of second-place Dayton with its 6-2 conference record. The Colonials are coming off a 3-1 loss at Towson on Thursday, snapping the squad's 11-game winning streak. The GW offense has three hitters carrying a .400+ average led by Sidney Bloomfield (.426) with 26 hits and 18 runs scored. Sierra Lange (.408) leads the team with 31 hits and is 7-for-8 in stolen bases. Faith Weber (6-1) holds the team's low ERA of 1.81 while Lange has tallied a team-best 87 strikeouts in the circle for George Washington.

Dayton (11-16, 6-2 A-10) dropped a non-conference doubleheader at home Wednesday to Morehead State by a combined total of two runs. After opening Atlantic 10 Conference play with four wins over St. Bonaventure, Dayton went 2-2 at Saint Louis April 2-3. The Flyers have four everyday players hitting at or above .300 led by freshman
