Box Score HOUSTON - The University of Dayton softball team closed out the first weekend of the season with a loss at Houston on Sunday. The Cougars claimed a 14-1 win over the Flyers in five innings at UH's Cougar Softball Complex.

Dayton moves to 1-4 on the short season and Houston improves to 3-1 overall.

UP NEXT
Dayton will return to action Feb. 25-27 when it takes part in the Hilltopper Spring Fling hosted by Western Kentucky. UD is slated to square off against Illinois State, Ohio and host WKU over a total of five games.
