NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Upon the completion of the 2021-22 conference season, the Atlantic 10 announced the bracket for the 2022 A-10 women's basketball championship tournament.

The University of Dayton will head to Wilmington, Del. as the No. 1 overall seed and will face the winner of the No. 8 seed Richmond and No. 9 seed Davidson matchup, which will be played on Thursday, March 3 at Chase Fieldhouse. Dayton's first game will be the following morning at 11 a.m. against the team that advances from Thursday.

Dayton is coming off a 60-46 home victory over No. 2 seed Rhode Island in the regular season finale Saturday at UD Arena.

The Flyers finished the regular season with a 23-4 record overall and a 14-1 conference mark.
