RALEIGH, N.C. – The University of Dayton women's track and field team rounded out competition in the Raleigh Relays on Saturday, as the three-day event hosted by NC State came to a close. In a non-scored team event, the Flyers were extremely competitive in a prestigious national meet, one that featured more than 150 collegiate programs.

DAY 1
Taylor Flight highlighted day one of competition for the Flyers, finishing 10
th overall in the shot put with a final mark of 14.93m. This ranks Flight third all-time at UD in the outdoor shot put, just .2 meters behind the highest overall mark.

DAY 2
Day two was led off by the 100m dash, where freshman
Chante Clinkscale placed third overall with a time of 11.41 seconds. Her first recorded outdoor 100m time for the Flyers set the new all-time record, her third including the indoor season. Fellow freshman
Kaira Granger finished 15
th in the race, with her 11.85 ranking her third all-time for the Flyers.
Lainey Studebaker also broke the school record in the 5000m race, running a 16:05.
Abby Carter set a new PR in the 1500m, finishing with a 4:39.
Grace Homan shined for UD in the field events on day two, setting a new PR of 41.73m in the discus toss, finishing 27
th overall.

DAY 3
Christierra Williams led day three off for UD, finishing 23
rd overall in the triple jump with a final mark of 11.46m. The Flyers continued their relay success from the indoor season on Saturday, as the 4x100m relay team consisting of
Rayana Burns,
Kaira Granger,
Lauren Santiago, and
Chante Clinkscale finished sixth overall in the event with 47.07 seconds, a time that ranks fifth all-time for UD.
Chante Clinkscale also secured yet another school record in the 200m, finishing second overall in the event with a 24.00 seconds.
Kaira Granger finished with a 25.16 and
Lauren Santiago posted a 25.85.

The Flyers will return to action on Friday, Apr. 1, as they will be nearby at the University of Cincinnati for the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational.
