Studebaker and Clinkscale Set to Compete at NCAA Regionals

Flyers Duo to Represent Dayton at Bloomington Regional

BLOOMINGTON, IND – The University of Dayton women's track and field team will have two representatives, Chante Clinkscale and Lainey Studebaker, competing in the NCAA East Preliminaries this week, hosted by Indiana University. The preliminaries will take place Wednesday – Saturday in Bloomington, with the women's events getting underway on Thursday.
 
Thursday's events include the first round of the 100 meters, where freshman Chante Clinkscale will compete for the Flyers. Clinkscale currently holds the #1 ranked time in the Atlantic 10 in the 100m with a 11.41 second time, posted at the Raleigh Relays on March 24. This time also ranks her eighth in the NCAA Great Lakes Region. The finals of the 100m will take place on Saturday.
 
Saturday's events will also feature the 5000m, where senior distance runner Lainey Studebaker is slated to compete. Studebaker also holds the Atlantic 10 best mark in her event, a 16:05.57 also set at the Raleigh Relays in March, ranking her 11th in the Great Lakes Region in the event.
