INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.  – The University of Dayton women's rowing team finished up the fall portion of the schedule Sunday at the Bald Eagle Intercollegiate Regatta.  

The Flyers carried over their success from their first event into this weekend's competition.

"Overall, we were happy with how each boat raced," said head coach Mike Wenker. "It was nice to end the fall with a few medals. We will pack up boathouse and get ready for the spring."

"Today's races showed how our hard work had paid off," said Angelina Koch. "The V4-B fought neck and neck with the other boats, and the energy was electric as power calls were made to push ahead. Overall, it was an incredible race, and I can't wait to see what we will be capable of in the spring!"

"The Novice 8 did an incredible job working together at the race this past weekend," said Audrey Dinger. "Not only did we secure 2nd place within the Novice 8+ but 3rd place in the 2V8+! It was a great way to end the Fall Season!"

"All of the novice were super excited for our first race," said Macy Muellner. "I was super proud of how we did. It was a great opportunity and it was a great way to wrap up our fall season."

"Today was a great race for everyone," said Cecilia Martyna. "The water was beautiful and it was a perfect day for the last race of the season. Our boat raced as a unit and finished strong."
