#UDWGOLF Voted To Finish Fourth In 2023 MAAC Preseason Poll

MAAC Championship Set for April April 21-23 at Disney's Palm Course

EDISON, N.J. - The University of Dayton women's golf team has been voted to finish fourth in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference 2023 Preseason Poll. The conference office announced the results of voting by league coaches Friday afternoon.

The Flyers are coming off a third-place finish at the 2022 MAAC Championship, including top-10 finishes from Jenna Harter (t-7th) and Sarah Frazier (9th).

Quinnipiac has been selected to finish first in conference play for the 2023 season after claiming the 2022 MAAC title. Quinnipiac received seven of a possible nine first place votes for a total of 73 points. Dayton received a total of 55 points.

Dayton is set to open the 2023 spring season this weekend with a trip to Panama City, Florida, for the Lady Bison Bay Point Classic. The three-day event host by Lipscomb is being held at the Bay Point Golf Club Feb. 5-7.

The 2023 MAAC Women's Golf Championships will be held at Disney's Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, April 21-23. The MAAC Championship return to Disney's Palm Golf Course for the first time since 2014 and the event will be hosted at the course for the fourth time overall.
