Box Score ORLANDO, Fla. - With the University of Dayton men's tennis team's season on the line in the Atlantic 10 Championship semi-final, freshman Sai Dore rallied to win at No. 5 to lift the Flyers over No. 2 seed Richmond, 4-3, at the USTA National Campus.

With the victory, Dayton advances to the Atlantic 10 Championship match, taking on No. 1 seed VCU. It marks the second consecutive season that the Flyers and Rams will play for the A-10 title.

"I'm so proud of this team," said head coach Ryan Meyer. "We've had to overcome so many obstacles this season and for us to come together and get this win means the world. Sai stepped up for us today. He fought through cramping and tough situations for his team. We can't wait to battle for a ring tomorrow."

Dayton jumped ahead with a win in the doubles point, as the combination of Ronit Hiryur and Matt DeMarco won at No. 1, 6-1, and Connor Bruce and Sai Dore won at No. 2, 6-3.

Richmond climbed back into the match with wins at No. 4 and No. 3, but a win from Bruce at No. 1 brought the sides back to even. DeMarco gave the Flyers the lead with a 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 win at No. 2, but the Spiders struck back to take No. 6 and set up Dore's heroics.

After falling 6-2 in the opening set, the Springboro, Ohio native fought back to win 7-6(5) in the second set and rallied back to win the final set 6-4.
