MIAMISBURG, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's tennis team put together two dominant performances on Friday, defeating nearby Cedarville 7-0 to start the day and capping it off with a 6-1 win over Marquette at the South Regency Tennis Center.
Dayton received contributions from all over its lineup in both matches, with fifth-year
Connor Bruce and freshman
Kyle McNally going 2-0 in singles, and seven other Flyers adding singles victories.
The Flyers also took care of business in orderly fashion on the doubles side, with McNally teaming with
Eric Suk (6-1) and
Mikkel Zinder with
Erik Eliasson (6-3) to win handedly over Cedarville, while Zinder and
Eric Perkowski (7-5) and
Matt DeMarco and
Ronit Hiryur (6-2) led UD to victory over Marquette.
