DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis team kicks off a busy week with a tough road trip to the Bluegrass State, taking on No. 11 Kentucky on Wednesday, Feb. 21 in a pair of matches scheduled for 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Boone Tennis Complex.
Dayton is coming off a 1-1 roadtrip to the state of Michigan where they upended Illinois State, 4-2, but fell to host Western Michigan, 5-2 to wrap up the weekend. The Flyers head into the week of action with a 7-4 overall record.
Kentucky is 7-2 to start the 2024 spring season, collecting wins over No. 3 Virginia and No. 8 Harvard on the season. The Wildcats' most recent match came Sunday against No. 15 Duke, where they lost 4-3.
The busy week returns to the friendly confines of the South Regency Tennis Center this weekend, as UD hosts three matches against Tennessee State on Saturday, Feb. 24, and both Saint Francis (Pa.) and Thomas More on Sunday, Feb. 25.
