MIAMISBURG, Ohio – The University of Dayton men's tennis team dropped a tight battle with a strong Cleveland State team, 4-3, Friday night at the South Regency Tennis Center.

The Flyers fell behind early after the Vikings (4-1) secured the doubles point with 6-3 wins at both No. 2 and No. 3.

Mikkel Zinder and junior
Erik Eliasson. Bruce improved to 3-1 on the season with his 6-1, 7-6 (1) win at No. 1, while Zinder improved to 4-0 in dual play with a 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 3. Eliasson picked up the Flyers' win in come-from-behind fashion, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.
