The Flyers are coming off an impressive win versus Lipscomb, where they won the match 6-1. That win helped improve their record to 1-1 on the season. Kyle McNally, Mikkel Zinder, Alfons Ridstrom, Sturle Skigelstrand, and Sai Dore all picked up singles victories.

Zinder is coming off his first Atlantic Player of the Week nod of the season. The sophomore has had a strong start to the 2025 campaign, going 2-0 in singles play and 1-0 in doubles action thus far. The Richboro, Pa. native started the season with a comeback win at No. 2 singles at Purdue, 2-6, 6-2, 7-5, then turned around to win handily against Lipscomb 6-1, 6-1.

Eastern Illinois began its spring season with two matches against Texas Tech and have also faced Illinois State, Northern Illinois, and Judson. Their most recent match was a win over Judson for their first victory over the season.
