DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis team looks to keep its winning ways going with a busy weekend in the Hoosier State, taking on Eastern Illinois on Friday, Ball State on Saturday, and wrapping the weekend with IU Indy on Sunday.
The weekend begins with EIU at a neutral site at the Pearson Tennis Club in Zionsville, Ind. on Friday at 7 p.m. The Flyers then travel to Muncie, Ind. to take on Ball State on Saturday at 4 p.m., and wrap the weekend against IU Indy on Sunday at 11 a.m.
The Flyers are coming off an impressive win versus Lipscomb, where they won the match 6-1. That win helped improve their record to 1-1 on the season.

Mikkel Zinder,
Alfons Ridstrom,
Sturle Skigelstrand, and
Sai Dore all picked up singles victories.
Zinder is coming off his first Atlantic Player of the Week nod of the season. The sophomore has had a strong start to the 2025 campaign, going 2-0 in singles play and 1-0 in doubles action thus far. The Richboro, Pa. native started the season with a comeback win at No. 2 singles at Purdue, 2-6, 6-2, 7-5, then turned around to win handily against Lipscomb 6-1, 6-1.
Eastern Illinois began its spring season with two matches against Texas Tech and have also faced Illinois State, Northern Illinois, and Judson. Their most recent match was a win over Judson for their first victory over the season.
Ball State is coming off its first win on the season when it defeated Illinois State 4-3. The Cardinals lost their first two matches to start the spring campaign against Michigan and Indiana.
IU Indy is also coming off its first win of the season. The Jaguars defeated UIC on Sunday 4-3 after dropping their first two against Northern Illinois and Toledo.
