DAYTON – The University of Dayton volleyball team defeated Saint Louis in a commanding three-set win (25-10, 25-18, 25-15).
UD kept out in front of Saint Louis early in the first set, going on a 10-point tear featuring four kills by Kamryn Hunt. The Billikens narrowed their deficit to four in the second set, but a five-point run by the Flyers kept the home team out in front. SLU brought the second set back within five thanks to a four-point run before Dayton took a two-set lead. Early runs in the third set gave the Flyers a lead to win the match.
Karissa Kaminski achieved 1500 career digs to open the second set, just the fifth in program history to reach the milestone.
