DAYTON - The University of Dayton football team will remain at home to host No. 16/19 Presbyterian Saturday, Oct. 25 at 12 p.m. It will be Military Appreciation Day at Welcome Stadium.
Dayton is coming off a tough loss at home last outing, but is still 3-1 in Pioneer Football League play and 5-2 on the season. The Flyers are tied for third place and with a win over the Blue Hose Saturday would move into a tie for second.
Nationally-ranked Presbyterian enters the contest undefeated on the year at 7-0 and is 3-0 in conference play. The Blue Hose are 3-0 on the road this season and tied for first place in the league with Drake.Â
SERIES HISTORY
Dayton and Presbyterian are meeting for the fifth time in program history with the series tied at two wins apiece. The Blue Hose have won the last two match-ups, including last year's contest, 28-7, at Presbyterian.
LAST OUTING
• Dayton ended its five-game winning streak in a tough 23-17 home loss to Butler this past Saturday. The Flyers trailed early and were just unable to complete the comeback as UD lost just its second game of the season.Â
• Presbyterian cruised to a 42-7 win over Stetson at home last weekend, scoring in every quarter and not giving up any points until late in the fourth.
LEADING THE WAY
• The Flyers currently lead the PFL in numerous categories across all three phases of the game including blocked punts, blocked punts allowed, fumbles lost, passes had intercepted, turnover margin, turnovers gained, and turnovers lost.Â
• Dayton also ranks top five nationally in blocked punts allowed (1st), passes had intercepted (1st), turnover margin (2nd), turnovers gained (5th), and turnovers lost (1st).

Gavin Lochow - Ranks first in receiving touchdowns (4th nationally), second in receptions per game (16th nationally), and second in total touchdowns (25th nationally).Â

Bryce Schondelmyer - Ranks second in passing efficiency (6th nationally), passing touchdowns (8th nationally), second in passing yards, third in passing yards per completion (19th nationally), second in points responsible for (20th nationally), and third in yards per attempt (13th nationally).

Michael Mussari - Ranks second in yards per reception (23rd nationally).
•
Josh Williams - Ranks second in interceptions per game (14th nationally).
•
Vincent Firenze - Ranks second in passes defended (10th nationally).

Brandon Martin - Ranks third in tackles for loss.

Luke Hansen - Ranks third in rushing touchdowns and second in total touchdowns.
