WASHINGTON, D.C. – The University of Dayton volleyball team's Abigail Cresse was named Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
This is the redshirt freshman's first A-10 honors, and the third weekly award for Dayton this season.
Cresse recorded 10 kills with a .421 attack percentage in nine sets played in straight-set wins against Duquesne and George Mason.
The middle blocker led the Flyers with 18 block assists, including eight in Saturday's win against the Patriots. She also averaged two blocks per set and 2.11 points per set.
