DAYTON – University of Dayton volleyball head coach Tim Horsmon has announced his team's 2026 schedule. This season's schedule features 31 matches and two exhibitions, including 12 home matches on familiar Hausfeld Court in the Frericks Center.

With the NCAA-wide addition of a second exhibition match, the season will unofficially kick off with a road exhibition against Kentucky (Aug. 14) and a home rematch against Ohio State (Aug. 21).

The 2026 non-conference schedule begins with the Flyer Invitational, where UD will host Marquette for the Flyers' home opener on Aug. 28 before taking on Santa Clara and Eastern Illinois on Aug. 29.

After a match at Louisville on Aug. 31, Dayton will spend three weekends on the road. UD will head to nearby Wright State for matches against Ball State (Sept. 4), Western Kentucky (Sept. 5) and Wright State (Sept. 6). The following weekend will be in Tampa, Fla., facing tournament-host South Florida (Sept. 11), TCU (Sept. 12) and Florida Atlantic (Sept. 13). The Flyers' final non-conference tournament will be split between Bowling Green and Toledo, playing Missouri (Sept. 18), Bowling Green (Sept. 18) and Toledo (Sept. 19).

The Flyers will open their Atlantic 10 slate with home matches against Davidson on Sept. 25 and 26. Other home matches will be versus Duquesne (Oct. 6), George Washington (Oct. 16-17), Loyola Chicago (Oct. 23-24) and Rhode Island (Nov. 6-7).

On the road, Dayton will play Fordham (Oct. 2-3), Saint Louis (Oct. 9-10), Duquesne (Oct. 27), George Mason (Oct. 30-31) and VCU (Nov. 13-14) in Atlantic 10 matches.

This year's A-10 Championship will be hosted by Loyola Chicago in the Gentile Arena on Nov. 20-22.

Fans can also reserve the Throughline or Brian and Yvette Gregory Suites on either end line. The VIP Tents include seating for eight, a cooler with water and soda and the choice between popcorn or nachos for each guest. Sales for the VIP Tents will open on July 1 and can be purchased here.
