DAYTON - University of Dayton women's golf head coach Ellie Sipe has announced the commitment of three players to continue their academic and athletic careers at UD. Addyson Ciganek, Lauren Miller, and Emery Warner will join the Flyers' roster for the 2026-27 season.
Addyson Ciganek is from Naperville, Illinois, and has been a four year varsity competitor for Naperville North High School under head coach Greta Williams. While competing, she was a four-time All-Conference selection (2023–2026) and served as team captain. Ciganek also earned her team's Most Valuable Player award. She plans to pursue a degree in sport management and attend law school.
Lauren Miller is a standout golfer at Archbishop Alter High School in Kettering, Ohio. Miller played four varsity seasons under head coach Jim Cole and is a three-time state qualifier. Miller was the 2023 District Champion, the 2023 and 2025 Sectional Champion and earned a first place win on the 2024 Golfweek Junior Tour. She helped lead the Knights to back-to-back Sectional titles in 2022 and 2023. Her low round record across 18 holes is a score of 69. Miller plans to major in business economics and minor is pre-law with the goal of becoming a corporate lawyer.
Emery Warner, a Dublin, Ohio, native, attended Dublin Coffman High School and earned four varsity letters under head coach Kim Grisvard. Warner served as a team captain for the Shamrocks in 2024 and 2025 and was named to the 2025 Ohio Capital Conference First Team after posting a 76 scoring average her senior season. Warner's declared major in business economics. Her brother, Luke, is a member of Dayton's men's golf team.
