The Flyers And Wildcats Kickoff At 1 p.m. ET In North Carolina

DAYTON - The University of Dayton football team will wrap up the regular season Saturday, Nov. 22 at Davidson College in North Carolina. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.

Dayton is looking to end the season on a positive note after falling short in the last two contests against PFL contenders San Diego and Drake. The Flyers are 6-4 on the year and 4-3 in league play. Dayton is 3-2 in road games this season.

As a team, the Flyers are scoring 26.4 points per game and holding opposing teams to just 17.7 points each contest. Dayton is averaging 341.7 yards of total offense compared to opponents' 319.8.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Davidson hosts Dayton with a 2-9 record on the season and 1-6 PFL mark. Both of the Wildcats' wins this year have come in the friendly confines of Davidson College Stadium, including a 14-13 upset win over No. 23/25 Presbyterian two weeks ago.

SERIES HISTORY
Dayton and Davidson are meeting for the 19th time in program history with the Flyers dominating the series, 16-2. UD has won the last two matchups including a 16-14 victory at home last season.

LAST OUTING
• Dayton's home finale and senior day was spoiled in a 14-6 defeat at the hands of PFL leaders Drake last weekend. The Flyers only managed one touchdown while the Bulldogs were happy enough with just the two scores to clinch it.
• Davidson went to Marist last Saturday and suffered a 37-10 loss after getting shutout in three of the four quarters, including all of the second half. The Wildcats gave up 513 of offense to the Red Foxes.

ALL OVER THE FIELD
• Junior receiver Gavin Lochow was the first Flyer to reach 1,000 all-purpose yards this season with 338 coming on the ground, 543 through the air, and 205 on special teams for 1,086 going into the last game.

LEADING THE WAY
• The Flyers currently lead the PFL in numerous categories across all three phases of the game including fourth-down conversion rate, blocked punts allowed, defensive touchdowns, fewest penalties, fewest penalty hards, fumbles lost, team tackles for loss, and turnover margin
• Dayton also ranks top five nationally in fourth down conversion percentage defense, blocked punts allowed, fewest penalties, fewest penalty yards per game, and turnover margin.

MAKING THEIR MARK
• Dayton has multiple student-athletes ranking in the top three individually among PFL players:
• Gavin Lochow - Ranks third in all-purpose yards, second in receiving touchdowns (22nd nationally), third in receptions per game, and third in total touchdowns.
• Michael Mussari - Ranks second in receiving touchdowns (22nd nationally) and third in yards per reception.
• Josh Williams - Ranks first in fumbles recovered (8th nationally) and second in interceptions per game (11th nationally).

MAC GRANT III EARNS 67TH ZULLI AWARD
• Dayton redshirt junior Mac Grant III was this year's recipient of the 67th annual Lt. Andy Zullia Memorial Award, the most prestigious honor for the UD football program. The award goes to the Flyer senior who best exemplifies the qualities of Zulli, a former UD football player who was killed in a military vehicle accident while serving in the Army in Germany shortly after his graduation in 1954.  Zulli was not a star football player at Dayton, but his qualities of sportsmanship, scholarship and leadership were so exceptional that this award was created in his memory shortly after his death.

LEVI MOELL RECEIVES LOCKHEED MARTIN ARMED FORCES AWARD PRESENTED BY THE FWAA
• Redshirt junior Levi Moell was named the 2025 recipient of the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Award presented by the Football Writers Association of America. Due to his accomplishments on the field, in the classroom, and as a member of the U.S. Marines, the West Liberty native was this year's honoree.
