Dayton (20-13, 10-4 A-10) has moved into first place in Atlantic 10 standings after a series sweep at Loyola Chicago this past weekend and is currently enjoying a five-game winning streak. The Flyers' offense is paced by seniors

SCOUTING OHIO STATE
Ohio State (33-10-1, 8-5 Big Ten) claimed a 2-1 Big Ten series win at Penn State over the weekend and the 24th-ranked Buckeyes stand in sixth place in league rankings. Jasmyn Burns (.492 - 6th NCAA) leads OSU with 61 hits, 20 home runs (2nd NCAA), 14 doubles, 63 RBI and a 1.105 SLG% (2nd NCAA). In the circle, Lorin Boutte (15-7, 4.41) is OSU's No. 1 with 102 strikeouts and five complete games through 106.1 innings.

Ohio State leads, 15-2
The Buckeyes have won four straight in the series with the Flyers' last victory coming on May 6, 2011, a 6-4 win in eight innings in Columbus.
LAST TIME OUT
Dayton spent the weekend in the Windy City for a three-game league series at Loyola Chicago and the Flyers came home in first place in A-10 standings after taking three from the Ramblers. Senior
Maddie Kapsimalis led the team over the weekend after going 5-for-9 at the plate with four runs and two walks. Freshman
Ella Holman made her first career home run count, a two-run long ball in the top of the seventh of game two Saturday, scoring what proved to be the winning run.
