DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team is set to play a three-game Atlantic 10 series against Fordham at home this weekend, kicking off at 4 p.m. Friday at UD Softball Stadium. The Flyers and Rams have adjusted the game schedule due to impending bad weather (see below). Admission is free.

SCOUTING FORDHAM
Fordham (21-21, 11-6 A-10) is currently suffering through a five-game skid after splitting its DH at Saint Joseph's on April 9, including a 7-2 loss at home to LIU. Neleh Nogay (.382) has tallied a team-high 58 hits, 40 runs and 38 stolen bases while Sydney Wells (.336) has 10 home runs, 33 RBI and 38 walks. Holly Beeman (11-5) holds a 2.28 ERA with 69 Ks and 14 complete games over 107.2 innings pitched.

Last season, Dayton claimed the 2-1 conference series win at Fordham April 13-14 and UD has won five of the last eight meetings in the all-time series. The Flyers and Rams first squared off on April 13, 1996 in Dayton.

In the NCAA's most recent Rating Percentage Index (RPI) through games on April 16, Dayton ranked 154th according to NCAA.com. Fordham came in at 144th.
