Prior to his Georgia career, Montgomery shined at The Mount, winning the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year award. The Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native averaged 13.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.7 steals per contest. Montgomery finished the season with nine games of 20+ points, including a stretch of six of the Mount's final seven games.
