Dayton Baseball Adds Chase Allen

Allen Joins The Program As An Assistant Coach

DAYTON – Dayton baseball head coach Jayson King has added Chase Allen to the coaching staff as an assistant coach. He joins Josh Roberge as a pitching coach.

"I am very excited to retain Josh and add Chase Allen to our coaching staff. The experiences that they have pitching at the highest level of college baseball will be great for our pitching staff," said King. "They both bring a tremendous passion for pitching and teaching that will have huge benefits to our program."

Allen earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management from Michigan in 2024, playing for four years for the Wolverines. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Development from UNC Charlotte this past May, finishing his playing career with the 49ers.

Serving as a captain for his senior year at Michigan and at Charlotte, Allen mentored younger players and developed positive team environments. In his career, he struck out 140 batters in 194 innings pitched with 60 appearances. He had a 15-8 record with a 6.12 ERA and three saves.
