DAYTON – The University of Dayton Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) executive board, chairs, and representatives have been finalized for the 2025-26 academic year.
Senior
Eleanor Monyek (women's basketball) will serve as SAAC president and is also Dayton's representative on the Atlantic 10 SAAC, as well as a member of UD's ADCOM, with the main purpose of the group to serve in an advisory capacity to the athletic director and to review and recommend athletic policies to the president of the university.
"It is a privilege to serve as SAAC president and lead our athletic community," said Monyek. "My goal is to amplify the voices of student-athletes and foster unity and camaraderie across all teams. I am excited to lead the student-athlete body and advocate for all UD athletes, representing the values and goals we all share."
Senior
Izzy Kemp (softball) is also on the executive board as administrator and also a member of ADCOM.
Kylee Heidemann (women's golf) is the alternate on A-10 SAAC.

The main functions of SAAC are:
· Promote communication between athletics administration and student-athletes.
· Disseminate information to teammates.
· Provide feedback and insight into athletics department issues.
· Generate a student-athlete voice within the campus athletics department during its formulation of policies.
· Build a sense of community within the athletics program involving all athletics teams.
· Solicit student-athlete responses to proposed conference and NCAA legislation.
· Organize community service efforts.
· Promote a positive student-athlete image on campus.
SAAC hosts the UD athletics' annual welcome back cookout, the RUDYS, and collaborates with campus partners on activities, as well as community partners on service opportunities.
