#FlyBoys Add Brody Ware To Coaching Staff

Ware Joins The Staff As A Pitching Coach

DAYTON – The University of Dayton baseball program has hired Brody Ware as an assistant coach, working with the Flyers' pitchers.

"We are very excited to add Brody Ware to our coaching staff," said head coach Jayson King. "He has gathered a lot of good playing and coaching experience that will allow him to help our pitchers at a very high level."

Ware spent last season as a Pitching Development/Pitching Coach at Eastern Michigan, assisting with individual pitcher development and data analysis. On game days, he called pitches for the Eagles, utilizing scouting reports and in-game management skills.

Prior to coaching at the college level, he was the Varsity Pitching Coach for Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron, Ohio. At Archbishop Hoban, he helped develop young student-athletes in the offseason and during the season, creating a positive and competitive team culture.

As a player, Ware pitched at Kent State for three years and Walsh for two, graduating from Walsh in 2024 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. At Walsh he was a team captain and was awarded the Elite 26 award by the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

"I am super excited to join the Dayton Baseball program," said Ware. "I'm extremely thankful for the opportunity and look forward to working alongside an amazing group of people. Go Flyers!"
