The philanthropic benefactors of the University of Dayton Athletic Hall of Fame are Kurt and Joyce (Mahrt) Friedmann.

MISSY GREGG – Soccer 1999-2000

Missy Gregg's first seasons of college soccer were at the University of Dayton, where she was a record-setting performer and two-time All-American.  As a freshman in 1999, the Centerville native was named a First Team Freshman All-American, and Second Team All-American.  As a sophomore, she was named a Third Team All-American.

Her 23 goals, 11 assists and 57 points in 1999 are all the Dayton freshman season records, and her 22 goals and 50 points are the UD sophomore records.

Gregg played on teams that were a combined 35-11 overall, and 21-1 in the Atlantic 10.  UD won A-10 the regular season league championship both seasons, won the conference tournament once and made NCAA tournament appearances in both of her years.

Despite playing just two years in the Red & Blue, Gregg is fourth in career goals at UD (tied, 45), fifth in career points (107) and holds the second and third-best single season goal totals (23 in 1999, 22 in 2000).

After Dayton, Gregg was a two-time NSCAA/adidas Division II National Player of the Year for Christian Brothers leading them to two appearances in the national championships game (winning once).  She holds the NCAA Division II records for goals in a season (73) and career (135), again in just two years of play.

Her 180 career goals scored (135 for Christian Brothers, 45 for Dayton) are the most in the history of college soccer, all levels, male or female.

Missy is now a general manager for Trader Joe's in Cincinnati.

RACHEL KRABACHER '13 – Volleyball 2008-2012

One of the most successful players on four of the most successful volleyball teams in University of Dayton history, Rachel Krabacher was the second Flyer to reach 1,500 kills and 1,000 digs (there are now two).

Krabacher was two-time AVCA Honorable Mention All-America, two-time AVCA All-Northeast Region First Team and two-time Atlantic All-Conference First Team.  She was also a 2009 A-10 All-Rookie Team member.  She was the 2011 A-10 Player of the Year and the 2012 A-10 Championship Most Outstanding Player.

A graduate of Cincinnati powerhouse McCauley High School,  Krabacher is second at Dayton for total attempts in a career (4,311) and ranks seventh all-time with 1,500 career kills

Krabacher helped lead her teams to four consecutive A-10 regular season championships, four consecutive A-10 championship titles and four consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament.  Dayton was 110-20 overall with her on the court, with a 57-2 A-10 mark.  … UD finished ranked 25th in 2009, 12th in 2010 and 19th in 2012.  The Flyers won a match in the NCAA tournament in three of her four seasons.

A chemical engineering major, who received her bachelor's in 2013 and a master's in 2016, Krabacher was a Senior CLASS Award All-American in 2012.  She was also two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District and two-time Academic All-Atlantic 10.

Rachel is a senior engineer for the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton.

GABRIELLE SNYDER '17 – Softball 2014-2017

A two-way standout who is the Dayton softball career batting average record holder, Gabrielle Snyder was named NFCA All-Region all four seasons of her college career.  She was selected first team as a junior, second team as a senior, and third team as a freshman and sophomore.  Snyder was also First Team All-Atlantic 10 three times, after being selected to the All-Rookie team as a freshman.

Snyder was A-10 Player of the Year as a senior in 2017.  She is the UD career record holder in batting average (.399) and doubles (58), and is second in career hits (222), third in slugging percentage (.607), tied for third in career on-base percentage (.444), fourth in triples (9) and sixth in RBI (97).

The Indianapolis native batted .370, .396, .382 and a then-school-record .429 in her four years.  A tremendous defender in centerfield, she also pitched, with career marks of 31 wins and 23 losses over 53 starts with a career ERA of 3.93.  Her best season in the circle by far was 2016, when she was 8-2 with a 1.69 ERA.

Snyder played on teams that were a combined 122-91-1, and 55-26-1 in the A-10.  Dayton won its first Atlantic 10 regular season championship in 2015 with a 20-2 record, and then finished second in 2016 with a 14-5-1 mark.

A pre-med major, she was First Team CoSIDA Academic All-American as a senior.  She also earned First Team A-10 All-Academic Team honors three times.

Dr. Snyder graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2022.  She is an Emergency Medicine Physician at Good Samaritan and Bethesda North Hospitals in Cincinnati.

CRAIG STAMMEN '14 – Baseball 2003-2005

Craig Stammen cracked the Dayton baseball records as both a starting pitcher and reliever in three seasons before being drafted by the Washington Nationals in 2005.  When Stammen was drafted, he was the UD career record holder in strikeouts (185, now sixth) and the single-season record holder for saves (9 in 2004, now second).

The Versailles, Ohio product is now fourth in career saves (10), tied for sixth in career strikeouts and complete games (11).  In single-season categories, he is second in saves, tied for second wins (9 in 2005); tied for fourth in starts (15), tied for sixth in complete games (9 in 2005) and seventh in innings pitched (106.0 in 2005).

As a junior in 2005, Stammen was 9-6 with a team-best 2.80 ERA, and was drafted in the 12th round of the MLB Draft.  He was the highest Dayton draft pick at that time, and part of a nine-year run that saw six Flyer pitchers drafted.

Named Academic All-Atlantic 10 in 2005, Stammen continued to work toward his degree until he received it while playing in the majors in 2014.  The number of major league baseball players with college degrees is estimated at only 5% of active major leaguers, but his earning his degree in while playing in the major leagues puts him is even rarer company.  It is believed that less than 25 players graduated from college while in the big leagues.

Stammen played 13 seasons in the major leagues with Washington and San Diego.  This past season, in his first year as a manager at any professional level, he guided the Padres into the National league playoffs.

ADAM TRAUTMAN '19 – Football 2015-2019

Adam Trautman was named to six different All-America teams as a senior tight end for the Flyers in 2019.  Trautman came to Dayton as a quarterback in 2015, but transitioned to tight end early that season.  He redshirted his first year on campus, and was named UD's Scout Team Player of the Year while learning his new position.

A four-year starter after that, he is UD's career record holder in receiving yards (2,295) and touchdown catches (31).  Trautman also holds Flyer single-season marks for receptions (70) and TD receptions (14).  He graduated as the Flyer career receptions record holder, and is now second with 178 catches.  His 188 points are 19th overall at Dayton, and the most for a Flyer receiver.

The Williamsburg, Mich. Native was a three-time All-Pioneer Football League selection and was the 2019 Pioneer Football League Offensive Player of the Year.  He represented UD in the 2019 Senior Bowl.

Trautman was drafted in the third round of the NFL draft by the New Orleans Saints, and he now plays for the Denver Broncos.  His seven years (and counting) in the NFL tie him with Chuck Noll for the third-most NFL seasons by a Dayton graduate.  Only Bob DeMarco (15 seasons) and Jim Katcavage (13) played more in the NFL.
